West Bend, WI – It was October 2024 when WashingtonCountyInsider.com first reported Ollie’s Bargain Outlet was opening on S. Main Street in West Bend, WI.  The franchise which has more than 550 stores, first opened in Pennsylvania in July 1982. The West Bend location is expected to open before the end of the year. It was July 21, 2024, when word spread across West Bend that Big Lots!, 1690 S. Main Street, would be closing. It was a short-lived store as the retailer originally opened January 26, 2023. According to store management this was a corporate decision.
