West Bend, Wi – This photo, courtesy the Washington County Historical Society, is the original plant of the West Bend brewery. In 1899, when Mayer and Company bought the Eagle Brewing Company, it was converted to a malting plant.
It remained as such until it was replaced by the West Bend Malting Company on Wisconsin Street. This old brewery was converted to other uses and subsequently torn down.
