Jan. 18, 2019 – West Bend, WI – Ward W. Ciriacks, 78, of West Bend WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.

Obituary | Ward W. Ciriacks, 87, of West Bend

He was born on March 9, 1940 in Milwaukee WI. Ward graduated from West Bend High School in 1957. On August 18, 1962 he was united in marriage to Charlotte Hebard at St. John’s Lutheran Church in West Bend, where they continued their membership today.

Ward was a hard-working man and known for his strong work ethic. He worked in the construction industry his whole life and owned and operated, Ciriacks Construction Inc. as a general contractor. Ward was a sales rep for Berg Barn Equipment out of Marshfield WI, taking pride in installing their products. He found time to manage the family farm, including cash cropping, dairy animals, and routine farm life. Ward loved gardening and the outdoors. Appreciated good conversation with whomever he encountered. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Those Ward leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife Charlotte Ciriacks; 14 children, Nolan (Jenni) Ciriacks, Lowell Ciriacks, Renee Ritger, Neal (Ann) Ciriacks, Shawn (Carmen) Ciriacks, Cara Ciriacks, Regan (Rebecca) Ciriacks, Heather Dahm, Shari Wieglein, Regina (Chad) DeSmidt, Erik (Amy) Ciriacks, Gwen Ciriacks, Ryan Ciriacks, and Jed (Becky) Ciriacks; 28 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Janice Kempf; a brother-in-law, Gary (Jill) Hebard; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ward is preceded in death by his mother, Celia Ciriacks; father and mother-in-law, Francis and Hilda Hebard; a son-in-law, Francis Ritger; and a grandson, Austin Busse.

A funeral service in remembrance of Ward will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Burial will follow at Newark Cemetery.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
