November 18, 2019 – West Bend, WI –Tod “Todder” J. Maclay, 61, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at his home on Big Cedar Lake in West Bend. He was born on July 25, 1958 in Milwaukee, WI to Geoffrey and Edith (nee VonSchleinitz) Maclay.
Tod is survived by his loving wife, Patty (nee Liban); his parents; brother Rip (Karen); sisters, Chrissie (Gil) Lindeman, Schelly (Paul) Zucchi and his special brother-in-law Jim Liban. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and all of his beloved pets, especially his dog, Chi.
Tod was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend. Tod especially enjoyed spending time with his many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces who enjoyed all kinds of fun activities and excursions with their “Uncle Tod.” None of them could imagine a better uncle. He was always happy and positive about life. He was thoughtful and generous to a fault. Everyone who knew him said that they were enriched by his presence and his soul. His enthusiasm for life was infectious and unequaled. He will be incredibly missed by everyone he touched.
He was a leader in the community. Tod was involved with the Cedar Lake Conservative Foundation, Big Cedar Lake Property Owners Association and the Town of West Bend Planning Commission. He was a graduate of the University School of Milwaukee and a graduate of Dartmouth College.
