Obituary | Timothy Gene Kauper, 41, of Hartford

April 10, 2020 – Hartford, WI – Timothy Gene Kauper, 41, passed away on April 4, 2020 at his home in Hartford, Wisconsin.

Tim, son of Gene and LaVern (nee Mueller) Kauper, was born on August 18, 1978 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He graduated from Hartford Union High School in 1997 and earned an associate degree from Moraine Park Technical College.

Tim was a long time employee of Quad in Hartford, with his latest role being an Offset Press Master Operator. He took great pride in his work. Tim enjoyed watching all Wisconsin sports, especially the Packers and Brewers. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son, Cole. Tim also loved watching his daughter, Katelyn, dance on stage. He was a very proud dad. Tim was a very good cook and loved experimenting with his grill and BBQ smoker. In summers, Tim loved spending time at Pike Lake State Park. Tim was an active member of Far Away Lodge in Radisson, Wisconsin. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh and his ability to crack a joke at any time.

Tim is survived by his parents; children Katelyn and Cole; sister Kelly (Ryan) Fladvid, nephew Nolan and niece Avery. Tim is further survived by his girlfriend Ashley Hesprich and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tim is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

There will be a private prayer service for immediate family.

  1. I was lucky enough to meet Tim and we talked for a while by my mom’s house. My mom and Tim were neighbors. I couldn’t meet a nicer guy and he was very smart too. I was hoping to talk with him again but now this will not happen. R.I.P. Tim. You will be missed by many! I know my Mom will truly miss you!!
