February 28, 2020 – Fond du Lac, WI –Thomas “Tom” Kescenovitz was born to Paul and Helene (nee Bernatt) Kescenovitz on March 6, 1943, in Milwaukee, WI.
He spent his youth in the great outdoors hunting rabbits and fishing and was a talented basketball player at Boys Tech High School. Tom spent his working life as a successful carpenter for Wellenstein and Sons. He met his wife, Judith “Judy” Oehler on the city bus and loved telling the story of how it was love at first sight.
They were married on December 1, 1962, and a family of four soon followed for whom he built 3 beautiful homes. His passion for hunting and fishing continued into adulthood. Tom passed on his love of the outdoors and was the model of hard work and Catholic faith to his family and friends.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Tom went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 28, 2020, and will be deeply missed by many.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Judy; three children, Debra, Dan (Susan), and Steven (Pam) Kescenovitz; two grandchildren, Alison and Melissa Kescenovitz; his siblings, Mark Kescenovitz and Julianne Petersen; his lifelong friends, Jim and Carolyn Boeder; and other family and friends.
Those greeting him in heaven include his son, David; a brother, Michael; a sister, Susan Muller; boss and friend Wally Wellenstein along with other loved ones.
