March 31, 2020 – Hartland, WI – Thomas E. Dekeyser, 75, of Hartland, Wisconsin passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 at Froedtert Community Hospital in Menomonee Falls, WI.
Tom was born in Green Bay, WI on March 20, 1945 to Alice (nee Van Zile) and Robert Dekeyser. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Tom was a truck driver for many years. Tom was united in marriage to Sharon J. Dieball on March 9, 1985. He enjoyed going to the Northwoods, model trains, reading, and going to casinos.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Sharon Dekeyser; loving step-daughters, Laura (Ken) Gelinskey and Lisa (Kevin) Oldenhoff; cherished grandchildren, Tyler (Natalie) and Ashley Oldenhoff, and Hunter Gelinskey; dear brother, Mike (Tina) Dekeyser; and dear step-mother, Bette Dekeyser. He is further survived by many other loved relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service for Tom will be held on a later date when permitted at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 67N W28321 Sussex Rd. Merton, WI 53056, with Rev. Mary Jane Huber officiating. Please check back for updated information.
