Obituary | Shirley P. Raddatz (Papp), 68, of Kewaskum

November 4, 2019 – Kewaskum, WI –Shirley Pauline Raddatz (nee Papp) passed away peacefully on November 3, 2019. She was born on May 7, 1951 to Martin and Emily Papp (nee Kropf) in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Shirley loved riding horses and she was a guide in the Southern Kettle Moraine. She enjoyed water sports and riding motorcycles, but her passion was grooming and caring for dogs. Shirley owned her own business for 15 years grooming dogs. She married Melvin Raddatz on October 9, 1971.

Shirley is survived by her husband Melvin and dog Rev; Sister Dolly Papp; Nieces Robin and Star, and nephews Kent and Lance; Further survived by good friends Ted and Wendy Nelson, as well as many other friends and relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Joseph Papp.

A Memorial Service for Shirley will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16 at The Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 until 2:45.

Memorials in Shirley’s honor are appreciated to the Washington County Humane Society (3560 WI-60, Slinger WI, 53086).

    • Hello, I believe that Melvin is my great uncle, and shirley was my great aunt. Can you let me know if Melvin is doing okay? I have not been in touch since my grandmother, Joan, cut contact. I would like to know more about my family on her side and just found out shirley passed…. I remember she had dogs and a little pony I fed as a child but that is all I remember. Please get back to me if possible.
