November 30, 2019 – Hartford, WI –Rose Grinwald (nee Janichek), 94, of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Kathy Hospice in West Bend, WI surrounded by her loving family.
Rose was born August 28, 1925 in North Lake, WI to Joseph and Anna (nee Machac) Janichek. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Grinwald on June 12, 1948 at St. John’s in Monches.
She was a member of the St. Johns Christian Mothers Society and the American Legion Auxillary Post 420 in Hustisford.
Rose is survived by her 11 children Gene (Sue), Dale (Darlene), Christine Oreskovich, Judith Weber, Beatrice (Robert) Wilbur, Karen (Mike) Held, Lawrence Jr., Janet (Brian) Henke, Marlene (Scott) Matula, Richard (Ann) and James Grinwald; 22 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence of 63 years, her parents, brothers, sister and son-in-law
Mass of Christian Burial for Rose will be celebrated on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church, W1170 Rome Road, Rubicon, with Rev. David LaPlante officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the Church from 10:00 – 11:45 a.m.
Interment to follow the mass at St. John Cemetery, Rubicon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John Catholic Church Rubicon or the Basilica of Holy Hill or Kathy Hospice.
Rose will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
