May 7, 2019 – West Bend, WI – Roger T. Konstanz, 77, of West Bend passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 3, 2019.

He was born on January 11, 1942, to the late Theodore and Ann (nee Hinzman) Konstanz in Tripp, South Dakota. He moved to West Bend in 1952. Roger graduated from West Bend High School in 1960. He worked at the Gehl Company for many years. He also worked at the West Bend Police Department and Fire Department. Roger was a member of the Hexelbank Club. In 1983, he purchased property in Eagle River where he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, and he was always tinkering and fixing things. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Those Roger leaves behind to cherish his memory include his two children, Deborah “Deb” (Jon) Swenson and Robert “Bob” (Stephanie) Konstanz; five grandchildren, Erik (Lauren) Swenson, Andy Swenson, Jessie Swenson, Danielle (Mark) Schumacher, and Nick Konstanz; a great granddaughter, Madison Swenson; two sisters, Margie Odekirk and Shirley Hollister; a brother, Stanley Konstanz; a sister-in-law, Pauline Konstanz; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Konstanz; two brothers-in-law, Ervin Odekirk and Nolan Hollister; and a sister-in-law, Mary Konstanz.

A funeral service in remembrance of Roger will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
