West Bend, WI – Robert Schneider, Jr. of Oxford, WI died on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the age of 61. He was born May 15, 1962, to Robert and Mary (nee Nerad) Schneider. While growing up in the West Bend area, he attended Holy Angels School and went on to graduate from West Bend East High School.
Bob was a frequent spectator of the races at Slinger Speedway. While there, he met Dale Grubba, who became his lifelong friend. Dale went on to become Rev. Dale Grubba.
Bob and Rev. Dale worked together to record weekly Mass for persons that were unable to attend. Rev. Dale was pastor at various churches in Central Wisconsin until retiring 3 years ago. He and Bob continued recording Mass until Bob’s death. These Masses can be seen online on YouTube.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather Mary and Larry Renzaglia; a brother John Schneider; 2 sisters Lisa (Dean) Stockhausen and Laura (Robert) White; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert, Sr.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Holy Angels Catholic Church on Thursday, November 21 from 12 noon until a Mass of Christian Burial 1 p.m. at church.
Bishop Jeffrey Haines, Rev. Dale Grubba and Rev. Howard Haase will be presiding. Burial will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to join the family for a pizza party after the burial service in Holy Angels Church Hall.
