Obituary | Raymond “Ray” A. Kling Sr., 65, of West Bend

September 30, 2019 – West Bend, WI – Raymond “Ray” A. Kling Sr., 65, of West Bend passed away peacefully on Monday, September 30, 2019 at his home with his wife by his side.

He was born on October 23, 1953 to the late Herman and Viola (nee Demmon) Kling in West Bend, WI. He graduated from West Bend High School. On June 29, 2007 he was united in marriage to Lavonne Keller. Ray worked as a fabricator and welder. His last job, which was his best job, was as a truck driver at Laufert Trucking in Hartford. Ray enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and riding his Harley-Davidson. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Those Ray leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Lavonne Kling; four children, Raymond (Kathy Bagley) Kling Jr., Desiree Foerster, Margaret (Mike) Leviseur, and Dennis Foerster; two grandchildren, Riley Kling and Austin Hedgecorth; three great grandchildren, Owyn Hedgecorth, Leon Hedgecorth, and James Hedgecorth; two sisters, Karen Oresnik and Sharon (Don) Nessman; many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Dakota and his brother-in-law, Bill Oresnik

The family is hosting a Celebration of Life for Ray on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 260 Sand Dr., West Bend.

Memorial to the family are appreciated.

The Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Homes have been entrusted with Ray’s arrangements.
