Obituary: Olive H. Puestow (nee Patzen), 99, of Town of Germantown

Nov. 7, 2018 – Town of Germantown, WI- Olive H. Puestow (nee Patzen), 99, passed away Sunday November 4, 2018. She was born on January 21, 1919 in the Town of Germantown to Frank and Clara (nee Krause) Patzen. On October 30, 1937 Olive married Leroy Puestow in Richfield and began her family.

She was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Jackson, where she was a Sunday school teacher. Olive was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Her lovely smile will be missed by all.

Olive is survived by her children Gerald (Bonnie) Puestow, Allen (Mary) Puestow, Shirley (Larry) Thomas, Carol Bellin; 10 grandchildren Vicki (Darryl) Campbell, Laurie Thomas Tipton, Randy Puestow, Roberta (Alan) Jones, Dan (Sue) Puestow, Karen (Randy) May, Cindy (Mel) Lepp, Shelly Puestow, Linda Puestow Warner, Dawn Bellin; 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Olive is further survived by her niece Barbara (Ron) Mull, and nephew Keith (Daine) Patzen, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leroy, her infant sister Laura, brothers Ervin, Edwin, and Otto Patzen, sisters-in-law Lila Patzen and Bernice Patzen, daughter-in-law Janet Puestow, son-in-law Dennis Bellin, grandson-in-law Terry Tipton and nephews Kenny Patzen and Kenny Mull.

A Funeral Service for Olive will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, November 10 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr) with Pastor Howard Kusler presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service at noon.

Interment will be at Washington County Memorial Park.
