Nov. 16, 2018 – Hartford WI – Norman J. Kroeger, 91, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his home.
Norman was born on December 1, 1926 in Stephensville, Wisconsin to Otto and Henrietta (nee Knaack) Kroeger. He was united in marriage to Phyllis Deering on April 7, 1951 at Zion Lutheran Church, Zachow, WI. Norman served his country in the United States Navy during WWII on the USS New Mexico. Norman worked as a tool and die maker at Square D Company and A.O. Smith. He also enjoyed wood working and playing cards with friends.
Norman is survived by his loving wife Phyllis; children Dan (Patricia) Kroeger of Cedarburg, WI and Lynn Kroeger of Racine, WI; grandchildren, Jessica, Jenna, Jordan, Becky and Robert; great-grandchildren Kaiya, Brady, Bennett, Caleb, Tanner, Landon, and Oliver. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister LaVila (Gerald) Sabrowsky.
A Memorial Service for Norman will be held Monday, November 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church (255 W. Lincoln Ave. Hartford, WI 53027) Pastor Jon Breimeier officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
