September 27, 2022 – Washington County, WI – Mitchell “Mitch” Preisler of Fillmore, 22, formerly of Fredonia, passed away early Sunday morning, September 25, 2022, as the result of a car accident.
Mitchell was born in Sheboygan on August 22, 2000, the son of Scott and Brenda Hurley Preisler. He grew up in Fredonia and attended Divine Savior Catholic School and Ozaukee High School – Class of 2018.
Following his education, Mitch became a dedicated and passionate worker and made many lifelong friends when he joined Dlapa Construction of Cedar Grove and later BMCI Construction of West Bend as a concrete worker.
Mitch always had the biggest smile and an even bigger heart. Mitch was always living his life to the fullest, a natural-born leader creating adventures for himself and his friends, whether it be a weeknight round of golf or a wild trip to Vegas. Mitchell’s energy was contagious and he was always up to give people a good laugh. Mitchell had many hobbies that he loved sharing with his friends and family. He especially enjoyed snowmobiling, cooking for his friends, and running his truck in county truck pulls.
Mitch is survived by his mother Brenda (fiancé Joe Jacobs) Preisler of Fredonia, sister Ashley (Duncan) Freiburger of the Town of Farmington, grandparents John & Lois Hurley of North Port, FL, special aunt Cheryl Saltzmann, and brother-of-the heart Jake Saltzmann and cousin Heather Saltzmann. He is further survived by many aunts and uncles: Tony (Lisa) Hurley, Dave (Jane) Hurley, Sarah (Todd) Spielvogel, John (Cindy) Preisler, David (Lori) Preisler, and Ann Preisler. Mitch is also survived by cousins Miranda & Ross Hurley, Jensen, Alex, Jordan and Payton Hurley, Chase & Josie Spielvogel, Stacy, Julie, Brian, and Sean Preisler, Matt & Amber Preisler, other family, and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Scott Preisler, and grandparents Harold and Cecelia “Cece” Preisler.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave., Belgium, WI. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the service begins at 3 p.m.
Following the service, Mitchell’s family will host a gathering and celebration of life at Kyote’s Bar and Grill, 129 Spring St, Belgium, WI.
