Nov. 27, 2018 – West Bend, WI – Michael J. Handel, 65, of West Bend, WI passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 23, 2018 in his home.
Michael was born on August 27, 1953 in Hartford, WI to Dorothy “Dottie” N.E. (nee Sell) and George J. Handel. He was united in marriage to Linda Findling on April 13, 1974. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed riding and working on his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Linda; loving son, Shane Handel; dear siblings, Crystal (Darnell) Burg of Hartford and Terry Handel of AZ; and his beloved dog, Blu. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and other loved relatives.
Funeral Services for Michael will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 4:00p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union Street Hartford, WI 53027). Family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
