November 8, 2021 – West Bend, WI – “Markus F. “Mark” Frank, 93, of West Bend, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021, at Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in West Bend.
Markus was born on October 2, 1928, in Milwaukee, the son of the late Fritz and Gertrude (nee Lehmann) Frank. On January 1, 2000, he was united in marriage to Rosemary Zueck at Trinity UCC in Brookfield.
Markus proudly served his country during the Korean War in the Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 449 in Brookfield.
He was a member of the Masons, achieving the title of Grandmaster, and he was also past president of the Daniel Boone Conservation League in Richfield. Markus worked with the Boy Scouts for many years. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, and had a love for the outdoors.
Those Markus leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Rosemary; four children, Diane Rohloff, Patrick (Cheryl) Yeko, Michael Hirschmann, and Jerry Hirschmann; three grandchildren, Stacie Semrau, John Frank II, and Joey Frank; other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Markus was preceded in death by three children, Mark Alan Frank, John Frank, and James Frank; and a sister, Gertrude Zillmer.
In honor of Markus’ wishes, private services will be held.
