August 19, 2020 – Horicon, WI – Kevin M. Brunner of Horicon passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 at the age 26 years. He was born on February 14, 1994 in Chippewa Falls.
As a child, he moved to Horicon where he attended local schools. He graduated with honors from Horicon High School with the Class of 2012.
He loved playing and watching football, playing video games and was a student of history. He particularly loved anything involving medieval times and thoroughly enjoyed competing in Madden football tournaments with his family and friends.
Above all else, he loved his family. He was a loving a cherished son, brother, grandson and friend.
Survivors include his parents Penny Flaskrud of Horicon and Matthew Flaskrud of Janesville; his brothers and sisters Kyle of Horicon, Kimberly (Austin Burgert) of Fond du Lac, Kelsey (Robyn Young) of Horicon, Kourtney of Horicon and Kaleb of Horicon; grandfathers Dennis Brunner of West Bend, Tom Osgood of Eau Claire; further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by 1 sister Kaila, 2 brothers Konnor and Kasey, grandmothers Bonnie Osgood and Paula Brunner, cousin Mitchell Brunner and special friend William Zabloski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 25 at 11 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend with burial following in St. Malachy Cemetery in Horicon. Visitation will be on Monday, August 24 from 4 until 8 p.m. with a Prayer Vigil at 8 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend.
