September 24, 2019 – Hartford, WI – Kenneth “Ken” D. Holz, 83, surrounded by his family, went home to his Savior on Saturday, September 21, 2019. He was born on May 19, 1936 in Hartford to parents Roy and Ruth (Gerwing) Holz. He was united in marriage on June 3, 1961 to Shirley Tietz. Ken retired from Broan after 33 years of service.
Ken enjoyed camping and bike riding. He was an avid Brewers and Packers fan. Ken will be remembered for always lending a helping hand to whomever was in need. Ken most of all loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife Shirley, two children, Connie Holz of Hustisford and Sue (Scott) Kuehl of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Hannah and Zachary Kuehl; two sisters, Lorraine Hinton of Pewaukee and Shirley (Ray) Gawel of Random Lake; brother-in-law, Donald Tietz of Beaver Dam; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and little companion Cricket. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Elmer and Gertrude Tietz.
Funeral Service for Ken will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 132 E. School St., Neosho on Wednesday, September 25 at 4:30 PM with Rev. Joshua Kesting presiding.
Visitation from 2 p.m. until time of service. Committal to follow at Hustisford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Church Fellowship Hall Fund. The family would like to thank Pastor Kesting, the doctors and nurses at Aurora Medical Center, Summit and AngelsGrace Hospice for their care and support.
