September 17, 2019 – West Bend, WI – Joyce A. Kollmansberger (nee Pocian), 74, of West Bend was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on April 16, 1945 to the late Anthony and Dorothy (nee Pietrowiak) Pocian in Milwaukee, WI. Joyce went to grade school at Immaculate Conception in Milwaukee and graduated from Bayside High School. On October 16, 1965 she was united in marriage to Dave Kollmansberger. She worked as a waitress at Pap’s restaurant in Milwaukee for 17 years then worked for USA Buttons for 15 years. Joyce loved crocheting, Sudoku, Candy Crush, watching the Packer games, never missing an episode of General Hospital, and hosting parties for the elections.
She enjoyed traveling with her family visiting 49 states together. Joyce would enjoy time skyping with her grandsons. She would participate online every week to her church service and would read her Bible daily. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, she was the Matriarch of the family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Those Joyce leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Dave Kollmansberger; three children, Deborah Pocian, David (Tracy) Kollmansberger, and Michael (Krisztina) Coleman; three grandchildren, Samantha (Christopher Sullivan) Pocian, Matyas Coleman, and Bence Coleman; two step grandchildren, Mikaela Hron and Kelsey Luehring; four sisters, Marlene Wydick, Kathleen Upson, Janice (Gerald) Depies, and Corrine Pocian; four brothers, Gary (Sharon) Pocian, Anthony Pocian, Terrance Pocian, and Dwayne (Betty) Pocian; her aunt, Ceil Javner; her sister-in-law, Susan Simonson; three brothers-in-law, Jerome Kollmansberger, Gilbert (Kitty) Kollmansberger, and Rodger (Patricia) Kollmansberger; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two brothers, Jack Pocian and Dennis Pocian; father and mother-in-law, Edwin and Catherine Kollmansberger; two brothers-in-law, August Simonson and Steve Wydick; and sister-in-law, Sherry Pocian.
A funeral service in remembrance of Joyce will be held on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 12 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 2300 S. Main St., West Bend. Committal to follow at Washington County memorial Park.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
