August 3, 2020 – Town of Erin, WI – Jerome “Jerrry” E. Mann, 82, born to eternal life on Friday, July 31, 2020. He was born in the Town of Erin on October 24, 1937 to parents Clarence and Lorraine (Nee Mittlestadt) Mann. Jerry proudly served his country in the US Army. In his early years Jerry worked at Chrysler Outboard Motors and retiring from Wacker Corporation in 2002. He will be most remembered as Hartford’s lowest cost, honest lawn mower and small engine repairman.
Jerry enjoyed watching baseball, bowling, playing sheepshead and most of all spending time in his garage.
Jerry is survived by son, Daniel Mann; daughter, Tanya (Ryan) Soerens; three grandchildren, Jalen, Ava and Lyla; siblings, Betty Mann, Bonnie Mann, Glenn (Judy) Mann, Tom (Claudette) Mann, Donald (Sharon) Mann, Carol Reis, Lorraine (Bill) Malone, Judy Lieven, Tim (Carol) Mann, Jeff Mann, Debbie (Brian) Erdmann; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerry is preceded in death by parents; brother Wayne (Arlene) Mann; sister, Mary Mann; brothers-in-law, Gene Reis, Greg Lieven; nephew, Michael Mann and former spouse, Emily Mann-Montag.
Funeral Services for Jerry will be held at the Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union St., Hartford on Wednesday, August 5 at 1 p.m. Visitation for family and friends from 11 a.m. until time of service. Committal and military honors at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the family and friends for their care and support over the last several months.
