Obituary | Visitation and funeral today for James “Jim” Jaeger, 89, of Campbellsport, WI

September 5, 2024Campbellsport, WI – James “Jim” Jaeger, 89, of Campbellsport, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 2, 2024.

Jim

He was born on August 27, 1935, to the late Kenneth and Evelyn (nee Schoepke) Jaeger in Campbellsport, WI. On Saturday, May 18, 1974, he was united in marriage to Judy Zehren at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.

 

Jim worked various jobs before getting involved with the Singer Co. Then he owned and operated his sewing business, Jaeger Sewing in Kewaskum.

 

He was a member of the Kettle Moraine Car Club, the EAA Ultralight Chapter, and Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Jim enjoyed reading, traveling, and flying his ultralight, and was a pilot for over 45 years. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Those Jim leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 50 years, Judy Jaeger; two children, Jesse (Jackie) Jaeger and Jeanne Jaeger; brother-in-law, David Zehren; three sisters-in-law, Janet Jaeger, Diane Jaeger, and Mary (Dennis) Larsen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant child, Julie Jaeger, his two brothers, Tom Jaeger and Jack Jaeger; and sister-in-law, Carole Zehren (nee Schultz).

VISITATION: Jim’s family will greet relatives and friends at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 305 Main Street, in Kewaskum, on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 11:45 p.m.

SERVICE: A Mass of Christian Burial for Jim will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum with Father Patrick Magnor officiating. Burial will be at St. Matthew Catholic Church Cemetery, Campbellsport.

The family would like to thank all the first responders for their service and care.
