Obituary | Henry “Hank” De Quardo, 71, of Jackson

January 13, 2020 – Jackson, WI –Henry “Hank” De Quardo, 71, of Jackson found peace on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Kathy Hospice.

He was born on October 14, 1948 to the late Dominic and Lorraine (nee Schaefer) De Quardo in Waukesha WI. Hank graduated from Solomon Juneau High School in 1967. On January 10 1970 he was united in marriage to Ellen Johnson in Milwaukee WI. Hank worked for the City of Milwaukee for 32 years until retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and golfing. He loved his beloved dog, Gennie. Hank enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.

Those Hank leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 50 years, Ellen De Quardo; his two children, Jason (Tina) De Quardo and Jody (John) Whitman; three grandsons, Drew De Quardo, Brandon De Quardo, and Ryan Whitman; his father-in-law, Tony (Jan) Matuszczak; five sisters-in-law, Evie Johnson, Gail (Larry) Schreiner, Kelly (Terry) Hill, Emily (Wally) Huf, and Tricia Matuszczak; three brothers-in-law, Scott (Betty) Johnson, Dale (Tessa) Matuszczak and Flint Matuszczak; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Hank is preceded in death by his sister Linda Gleason and his brother-in-law, Bruce Johnson.

A memorial service in remembrance of Hank will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Myrhum Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

The family would like to thank the staff at Kathy Hospice for all their help and care.
