February 19, 2020 – West Bend, WI – Germaine “Geri” U. Zebrasky (nee Rosenthal), 90, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020 at the New Perspective in West Bend. She was born on October 27, 1929 to Fred and Ursula (nee Lemense) Rosenthal. Geri was an excellent sewer and porcelain doll maker. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for hospitals, oil painting, baking and playing Pinochle. Geri was known for her waffles, turtle cookies and Chex Mix. She was a loving grandmother and mother and will be greatly missed.
Geri is survived by her children, Patricia (Ken) Ertman, Pamela (Tom) Burish, Steven (Valerie), Sandy (Claude Foley) Merz, Scott (Debra); grandchildren, Tiffany (Brandon) Finstuen, Crystal Ertman, Mark (Eunice) Burish, Brent (Kathryn) Burish, Nichole (Tony) Smith, Graham (Leslie), Abigail (George) Muntz, Hannah (John) Laski, Tony Bal, Tonya (Joseph) Solis, Tara (Stephen) Mudryk, Amber Bal, Trent Merz, Amanda and Sarah Stone and 14 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Geri is preceded in death by her husband Bill Zebrasky, her parents and 8 siblings.
A Memorial Service will be held on a later date at the Brownsburg Cemetery in Brownsburg, Indiana.
