Nov. 15, 2018 – West Bend, WI – Gayle Patrice (Nate) Powell born to eternal life on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at her home in West Bend, WI at the age of 68. Gayle was born on October 7,1950 to her beloved parents, Bernard and Norma (nee Rosenbaum) Nate.
Gayle is preceded in death by her parents, and beloved cats ‘Spooky’ and ‘Gizmo’. Gayle had no siblings or children.
Gayle is survived by many cousins and wonderful friends, both the two legged and four legged kind, and ‘Misty’ her cat, (presently available for adoption at the Washington Co. Humane Society), Gayle will be remembered for her sense of humor and light heartedness.
Gayle graduated from Holy Angels Parish Grade School, West Bend High School Class of 1968, and went on to receive a degree from UW-Whitewater. Gayle was Air Force Reserves, a licensed nurses’ aid, and a companion to residents of Bridge over Wisconsin.
She was known and loved by so many co-workers with 40 years at Fleet Farm and four years at Serigraph, Inc of West Bend. Gayle was a passionate reader, enjoyed the library, and loved her cats. She would want you to know, ‘Cats are ‘purr-sons’ too!
Thank you to all who supported and loved Gayle. Memorial donations suggested for Washington County Humane Society, in her name. A private service will be held for close friends and family.
