December 16, 2019 – Hartford, WI –Eleanor C. Heimermann (nee Beyer), 90, surrounded by family, found peace on Friday, December 13, 2019. She was born in Beechwood, WI on December 16, 1928 to parents Charles and Marie (nee Heberer) Beyer. She was united in marriage to Leonard Heimermann on September 17, 1949 in Charlesburg.
After their children were grown up, Eleanor and Leonard enjoyed traveling around the U.S. and several foreign countries including Australia, Europe, Panama Canal, Bahamas and more. She collected many salt and pepper shakers and plates from everywhere she traveled. Eleanor loved collecting ducks, ducks and more ducks, doing jigsaw puzzles, planting flower beds and taking care of the many chores and animals at the farm. She most especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Eleanor is survived by her beloved children, Sandra (Dennis) Haro, Daniel (special friend Jodi), Randall (Sheila), Dale, Gail (Gary) Ricker and Debra Brandt; thirteen grandchildren, Kevin (Jen) Haro, Jamie Haro, Dana (David) Arrowood, Jenny (Aaron) Stelter, Nathan (Anne) Heimermann, Justin (Ellie) Heimermann, Katie (Austin) Luckow, Megan (Mitchell) Kellner, Adam, Eric and Ellen Heimermann, Nicholas (Becky) Ricker, Stephanie (John) Schmitt; sixteen great-grandchildren, Sofia, Coda, Bryce, Ethan, Zavier, Abigail, Paul, Colton, Hunter, Wyatt, Mikayla (Lucas), Mikenna, Mason, Miyah, Madeline and Alexander; brother in-law, Ray; sister in-law, Lorraine (Tom) Bowe. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Eleanor is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Leonard; a granddaughter Sara Heimermann; siblings, Fred (Elizabeth) Beyer, Oscar Beyer, Evelyn Beyer, Viola (Roland) Kelly; brothers and sisters-in-laws: Elmer (Margaret), Melvin(Rose), Joanne, and Lester(Donna) Heimermann, Marcella(Albert) Straub, Evangeline(Robert) Meyer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Kilian Catholic Church, 264 W. State St., Hartford on Thursday, December 19 at 11 a.m. Visitation at the church from 9 a.m. until time of Mass. Burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
The Family would like to thank all the staff at Majestic Heights for the care and comfort they gave Mom.
