Obituary | Dean Harold Meyer, 68, of West Bend

January 15, 2020 – West Bend, WI –Dean H. Meyer, 68, was called home to his Father’s house on Monday January 13, 2020. He was born on August 3, 1951 in Milwaukee to Harold R. and Delores (nee Glatkowski) Meyer.

Dean graduated from Greenfield High School and attended MATC for two years. In October 1983, Dean married Mary and they began their family. He was employed at the Ball Company. Dean loved and enjoyed being with his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, plowing snow, and Ford trucks. When he wasn’t outdoors, he enjoyed Jeopardy, chess, and history kept him busy. Dean was a member of the West Allis Auto Club and St. Frances Cabrini Church.

Dean is survived by his loving wife Mary, his children; Christyle-Ann, Joseph (April) and Heather, grandchildren; MyKaehlah-Jane, James-Robert, John-Cooper, Mary Beth and Malachi. He is further survived by his “great” mother-in-law Shirley, his brother-in-law Robert (Denise), other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Glenn.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21 at St Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 1026 S. 7th Ave West Bend, with Rev. Nathan Reesman presiding.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr.) from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Vigil Service will be at 7 p.m.
