Registered sex offender violated sex offender registry rules | By West Bend Police

November 26, 2024 – West Bend, Wi – On 11/22/24, the West Bend Police Department was notified by the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry program that an anonymous tipster reported 45-year-old West Bend resident, Nicholas Mistrioty, was in violation of several of the sex offender registry rules.

The Police Department immediately launched an investigation and determined Mistrioty was providing childcare at his residence against his rules and had used a false name when working as a deejay at local events, including a dance at Silverbrook Middle School in February 2024.
Mistrioty was taken into custody on 11/22/24, placed in jail, and has been charged by the Washington County District Attorney with being a sex offender using a different name, two counts of being a sex offender working with children, two counts of being a sex offender failing to provide notification and one count of knowingly failing to notify a school of his sex offender status. Mistrioty is being held in the Washington County jail on $2,500 cash bond.
