OBITUARY | Darryl J. Gruber, 62, of Menasha, formerly of Kewaskum, WI

January 30, 2024 – Washington County, WI – Darryl J. Gruber, 62, of Menasha, formerly of Kewaskum, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 22, 2024.

He was born on August 11, 1961, to Andrew Eugene and Alice (nee Krueger) Gruber in West Bend. Darryl graduated from Kewaskum High School. He honorably served in the United States Marine Corp. He worked as a machinist for many years until retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and going up north. Darryl especially enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Kayle. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Those Darryl leaves behind to cherish his memory include his daughter, Kayle Harasimchuk; his mother, Alice Gruber; four sisters, Carmen (Mike Moser) Gruber, Sherry (Dale) Carter, Ann Marie (Rodney) Wiedmeyer, and Charlene Gruber; two brothers, John (Laurie) Gruber and Paul (Barb) Gruber; brother-in-law, Gary Hansen; John and Taeko Gruber, Darryl and Kayle’s partners in crime; as well as many others who loved Darryl and will miss him greatly.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Hansen.

VISITATION: A Celebration of Life visitation in remembrance of Darryl will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.
