Obituary | Dale E. Bell, 79

May 31, 2019 – Washington Co., WI – Dale E. Bell, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 29, 2019. He met his wife Karen, and they fell in love and married within four months, spending 36 wonderful years together. He loved caring and looking after his best friend Karen. He worked as a bricklayer, and loved spending time outdoors playing horseshoes, chess, cribbage, and just cutting the grass. He loved socializing, and was always the life of the party talking to everyone. He loved spending time with his family, especially at Mike and Tammy’s home at Crooked Lake. He was a great father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, “Papa” and would do anything for his family. His grandchildren will always remember his Donald Duck voice.

Dale is survived by his loving wife Karen, daughter Tammy Jo (Mike), son Thomas (Ingrid) daughters Stacey and Shannon; grandchildren Dustin, Jamie, Christopher, Scotty, Nick, Thomas Jr., Alex, Olivia, and Trey; great-grandchildren Megan, Morgan, Madison, Elaina, and a fifth great-grandchild on the way; brother Tom Bell and sister Marilyn Bernard; brother-in-laws Tom and Bryan Olson. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents Mahlon and Ethel, father in law Norman Olson, mother in law Mavis Schmitt, daughter Barbara Ann, and fur babies Katie, Cubbie and Abby.

Private family services with Military Honors will be held at Washington County Memorial Park.

Dale’s family would like to thank Dr. Eric Olafsson, Lauren from Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care for playing guitar and singing for him, as well as the staff at Samaritan Health Center.
