January 4, 2024 – Allenton, WI – On Friday, December 8, 2023, Charlotte Dorothy Mueller, 73, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister was carried by Jesus to her heavenly home, where she now rests peacefully.
Charlotte was an amazing woman, and she accomplished many wonderful things in her life. She was very creative, and artistic and everything she touched was stunning. She was an over-the-road truck driver with her husband Herbert, along with owning and operating two businesses for years.
Her strength and charismatic personality truly inspired everyone around her. Charlotte’s heart was filled with devotion to family, friends, and her beloved church.
She took a lot of pride in running the Bocce league at Venice Isle Estates, where everyone knew when it was time to start Bocce with that “special whistle.”
Charlotte was well known in the community, which was seen by the love and support of the very large candlelight vigil that was held in her memory in Venice, Florida.
Her time was also spent in her home state of Wisconsin, where she enjoyed camping, fishing, and ATVing. She also enjoyed laughing and playing outdoor games with her loved ones around her. Her favorite board game was Scrabble, and she was impossible to beat. What a wonderful, smart, and beautiful lady, who will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents Alexander and Irene Wenninger and brother Ralph Wenninger.
Those who cherish her in their memories include her beloved husband, Herbert Mueller, who she was married to for 55 years. Her daughter Angela Herriges (son-in-law, Steven Herriges), and son Douglas Mueller (Special Love, Michelle Reedy). Her grandson Zachary Herriges, who was her sunshine, and the best gift she could ever be given. Siblings Rita Boegel, Beverly Schweitzer, Steven Wenninger, and Mary Rees. She also leaves behind countless family members and friends whose lives she deeply touched with her caring heart and her loving generosity.
Let’s not forget her favorite family member, Rascal, her spoiled dog!
