September 20, 2019 – West Bend, WI – Bernice E. Werner (nee Schoessow), 90, of West Bend died Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center. She was born August 26, 1929 in Mequon to the late Bernhard and Rose (nee Lueder) Schoessow.
Bernice is survived by her five children: Joel (Lorrie) Miller of Milwaukee, Terry Miller of Mosinee, WI, Amy (Tony) Katchever of West Bend, Lisa (Dan) Wagner of West Bend and Chris Miller of Madison and 3 grandchildren: Dawn (Jared) Thull, Amanda (special friend Bastain) Wagner and Bradley Miller. She is further survived by her great-grandson Carl Thull, her brother Gerhardt Schoessow, her sister Cecilia Schoessow and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Jackson with burial following in Christ Lutheran Cemetery. The family will greet visitors on Monday, at the church from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m.
