September 2, 2019 – West Bend, WI – Barbara “Barb” M. Sienko (nee Johnson), 77, of West Bend found peace on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at her home with her family and friends by her side.
She was born on June 20, 1942 to the late Marvin and Faye (nee Rick) Johnson in Milwaukee WI. Barb graduated from Bayview High School. She worked at Ladish corporation for many years and then for Kemps Dairy Products until retirement. Barb enjoyed reading, camping, shopping, and gardening and won the West Bend Beautification Award in 2017. She loved decoration, especially for Christmas. Barb also loved spending time with her granddaughters. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Those barb leaves behind to cherish her memory include her son, Mark (Maegen) Sienko; two granddaughters, Madeline (Fiancé Bryce Deming) Sienko and Payton Sienko; two sisters, Linda Knoblock and Sue (Bob) Dertz; two brothers, John (Ana) Johnson and Dave (Chris) Johnson; two stepsisters, Lyn Stack and Judy Melms; a stepbrother, Tom (Mona) Melms; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepmother, Mildred Johnson; former husband, Terrence Sienko; and former father-in-law, Edward Sienko.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 12 p.m. at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, 1025 S. 7th Ave., West Bend.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass.
The Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Homes have been entrusted with Barb’s arrangements.
