May 22, 2020 – Hartford, WI – Anthony “Tony” G. Holl passed away from complications following surgery on Friday, May 22 at the age of 64. He was born in Hartford on December 12, 1955 to Henry and Helen (nee Barchent) Holl. He was united in marriage to Laura Giencke on October 4, 1980 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Slinger.
Tony enjoyed small engine and lawn mower repair, his dad’s Minneapolis Moline tractor, and snowmobiling. He liked collecting a wide variety of things, mostly acquired from rummage sales, flea markets, and farm toy shows. He especially loved spending time with his grandsons. His favorite activities included pulling them around in a trailer behind the garden tractor, taking them to parks, playing Checkers, and sharing lunch with them at their school.
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Laura; his children, Eric (Katie) Holl, Kyle Holl; grandchildren, Connor and Brandon Holl. He is further survived by his sisters, Helen Langenecker and Rita Holl, his brothers-in-law Harold Dietenberger, Herbert Breuer; and sister-in-law, Kathy Holl. He is further survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Norman Holl, his sisters, Carla Dietenberger, Carol Breuer and Theresa Aker.
Due to CDC restrictions, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church in Slinger. Private interment will take place at New St. Peter Cemetery.
