December 13, 2019 – West Bend, WI –Amporn Heitman (nee Nernrach), 72, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend.
She was born on March 4, 1947 in Thailand to Saow and Dun Nernrach. Amporn loved her culture, everything Thailand. She frequently cooked Thai food, went to Thai restaurants when she could, and her favorite dish was the Papaya Salad. She also loved America, being American, and was a firework and 4th of July enthusiast. She was heavily involved w/ the local Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 448. She was also a life member of the Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America. She enjoyed Thai Soap Operas, rummage sales, dancing, video games and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren.
Amporn is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Thomas; children, Boontum Nernrach, Amorn (Richard) Larson; James (Kathryn), John, Erich (Lindsey), Angela (Scott) Peterson; grandchildren, Janjira and Sarayut Nernrach, Samuel andNickolas Larson, Dryw, Justin, Charles, Madylin, William, Evelyn Heitman, Myles Peterson; brothers-in-law, Roy, David (Imogene); sisters-in-law, Patricia (James) Wildt, Karen and Nancy Heitman.
Amporn is preceded in death by her parents, brother Don Nernrach, parents-in-law Roy and Cecelia Heitman and brother-in-law Joseph Raymond.
A Funeral Service will be at 6 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095. Visitation will be on Friday, December 20, from 4 p.m. until 5:45 p.m.
