October 15, 2019 – Allenton, WI – Allison Wilhelm “Willie” Hormann, 36, of Allenton passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 8, 2019.
Willie was born on October 5, 1983 in Milwaukee to Allan and Darleen (Mikkola) Hormann .
Willie graduated from Slinger High School in 2002. He graduated from UW-Madison in 2007 with a Bachelor Degree in German. He spent his sophomore year studying in Freiburg, Germany. He also traveled to Finland and Peru. After college, he moved to the west coast for a few years and also lived on the east coast before moving back to Allenton. He was very interested in linguistics. Willie was an avid musician with a focus primarily on guitar playing. He also enjoyed gardening, sustainable earth practices and had a deep concern for the environment.
Those Willie leaves behind to cherish his memory include his parents, Allan and Darleen; one brother, Jacob (Stephanie) Hormann; and one sister, Melissa (Zach) Grycan. He is further survived by his paternal grandmother, Wilma (Shelley) Horman, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Willie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rudy and Larayne (Colby) Mikkola, and his paternal grandfather, Harry Horman.
Memorial Service for Willie will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Myrhum Patten Miller Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W Washington St. – West Bend, WI 53095.
Willie’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service.
