Robert J. “Bob” Burns, 68, of Fond du Lac, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016.
Bob was born on October 1, 1947, in Milwaukee, the son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Lutinski) Burns. On July 13, 1985, he was united in marriage to Kathleen Grenier.
Bob lived his life his way and enjoyed it to the fullest. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Those Bob leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Kathleen; three children, Amy Burns of Milwaukee, Stacy (Jason) Van Epps of Menomonee Falls and Kevin Burns of Milwaukee; four grandchildren, Derek, Tyler, Cody, Allyssa; brothers, sisters and their families; other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a sister; a nephew; and brother and sisters-in-law.
A memorial service for Bob will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at the Myrhum Patten Miller and Kietzer Funeral Home in Lomira with Father Michael Petersen officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.
