Obit: Ted “Fred” Theodore A. Yahnke, 47, of West Bend

 

July 24, 2017 – West Bend, WI –  Ted “Fred” Theodore A. Yahnke, 47, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at his home.

Ted was born on August 24, 1969, in Milwaukee, the son of Terrance and Kathleen (Sweeney) Yahnke. He was an avid hunter, softball player, but Ted loved spending time with his family and friends above all else. Generous of heart, Ted brought laughter and joy to everyone around him. Ted was a proud graduate of West Bend East HS (87) and UW Whitewater (92) and was employed at Creative Counters in West Bend.

 

Those Ted leaves behind to cherish his memory include his father, Terry Yahnke of Jackson; five siblings, Chris (Terri) Yahnke of Waukesha, Steve (Cheryl) Yahnke of Sussex, Heather (Greg) Klump of Menomonee Falls, Michael (Anna) Yahnke of West Bend, and Spencer Yahnke of Las Vegas. Ted was an awesome and beloved uncle to seven nieces and nephews, Tanner, Erin and Logan Yahnke, Jake and Evan Yahnke, Noelle and Nate Klump. Ted leaves behind his beloved dog, Hercules and many, many friends and relatives.

 

Ted was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Yahnke.

 

Funeral services for Ted will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Myrhum Patten Miller and Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, in West Bend. Ted’s family will greet relatives and friends from 4:30 p.m. until the time of service.
