Stanley “Bloof” Laubenheimer, age 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the Kathy Hospice in West Bend. He was born on August 9, 1929 to Philip and Hilda (nee Scharfenberg) Laubenheimer. He enjoyed deer hunting with the gang, fishing, gardening and spending time at their cottage in Crivitz.
Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, LaVerne “Torchie” (nee Schaefer); his son Richard (Ruth); Grandchildren Kurt (Samantha Heiman) Zwirlein, Kimberly (Brian Cesar) Zwirlein, Kerri (Scott) Fell, Josh Laubenheimer; great-grandchildren Olivia Fell, Karter Fell, Morgan Zwirlein. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Stanley is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Kathleen Zwirlein.
A Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at St. John’s UCC (520 W. Washington Street, Slinger, 53086). Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery (Slinger, WI).
