Obit: Roseann T. Zautcke (nee Dengel) of West Bend. Roseann worked at Husar’s Jewelers in downtown West Bend, and then worked for over 45 years at the First National Bank of West Bend / M&I

March 6, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Roseann T. Zautcke (nee Dengel) joined her husband Edward H. Zautcke, her mother Marie A. Dengel (nee Rinn) and her father Howard A. Dengel in the presence of our Lord on Friday, March 3, 2017.

 

Roseann was born in West Bend on June 9, 1937, and spent part of her childhood in Port Washington.  She attended grade school in West Bend and graduated from West Bend High School in 1955 where she participated in numerous clubs and activities.

 

After graduating, she worked briefly at Husar’s Jewelers in downtown West Bend, and then worked for over 45 years at the First National Bank of West Bend / M&I before retiring on May 5, 2000.

 

On Oct. 12, 1963, she married Edward Zautcke at St. Frances Cabrini Church. She was the proud mother of Bartly and Bradly Zautcke and grandmother of Celeste and Kira Zautcke.

 

Roseann enjoyed reading, collecting unique and beautiful home decorations, and most of all spending time with her family and many friends in West Bend.

 

She is survived by her sons, Bartly (Laura) and Bradly, and granddaughters, Celeste and Kira.  She is further survived by her brother Jan (Caryl) Dengel, and sisters/brothers-in-law Gloria Dengel, Ethel & Walter Carter, June Thompson, Lucille Zautcke, and by many wonderful nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was also preceded in death by her brother Donald Dengel, and bothers/sisters-in-law Allen Zautcke, Ivin Thompson, and Robert & Doris Tock.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 8 at 4 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church.

Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday in Holy Angels Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at 4 p.m.

 

The family would like to extend special thanks to the Samaritan Health Center/Fields of Washington County, and has requested memorials be made to either St. Frances Cabrini Parish or the Alzheimer’s Association.
