Richard A. Hahn, age 85 years, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 26, 2016.
Richard was born on December 30, 1930 in the Town of Polk to Frank and Clara (nee Bohn). Hahn. He married Carol (nee Schmidt) on September 12, 1953. Richard served as a Corporal in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and then worked as a machinist for 38 years at Waukesha Motors of Waukesha. He was a member of the Zunker-Held VFW Post 3358 in Slinger.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Carol, children Bill (Kathy) Hahn, daughter in law Gloria Hahn, Deb (John) Binder, Annette (Doug) Fischer and Douglas (Linda) Hahn. He is further survived by his grandchildren Ryan (Sonya) Herrick, Andrew (Elyce) Fischer, Brittany (Steve Poser) Herrick, Ben Hahn, Daniel Fischer, Michelle (Vance) Rath, Eric Hahn and Liz Hahn, great-grandchildren Miya, Piper, Corbin, Colton, Rosalie and Laikyn, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and many friends. He will be missed by his cherished poodle “Katie”. Preceded in death by his parents, sons Russell and Michael, son-in-law David Herrick and grandson Jason Herrick.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend. Inurnment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park of West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, July 31 from 1:00 pm until time of service (3:00 pm).
