Obit: Raymond E. Krueger, 81, of Kewaskum

 

Sept. 29, 2018 – Kewaskum, WI – Raymond E. Krueger, 81, of Kewaskum, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018, at Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.

 

Raymond was born on September 22, 1937, in the town of Theresa, the son of the late Raymond and Adela (nee Macheel) Krueger. On September 27, 1958, he was united in marriage to Audrey Kral at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.

 

Raymond was baptised on October 17, 1937, by Rev. Herman Cares at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in the town of Theresa and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church on April 2, 1950 by Rev. F.H. Senger. He was a member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.  He graduated from Mayville High School class of 1955. He was employed by Regal Ware for 42 years and was a member of the 25 Year Club as well as a member of the Union Local 849 where he held various offices. Raymond was a trustee for the Washington Labor Council for 27 years and was on the Moraine Park Technical School board for 12 years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, doing puzzles, and playing with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

 

 

 

Those Raymond leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Audrey; three children, Raymond (Joann) Krueger of Wausau, Mindy (John) Langman of Two Rivers, and Megan (Kevin) Schniepp of Minneapolis, Minnesota; a daughter-in-law, Crystal Krueger of Green Lake; nine grandchildren, Hannah, Leah, Mara and Emma Krueger, Amanda (Zachary) Cvikel, Paul Jung, Hillary (Collin) Chase, and John Jung, Ava Schneipp; two step-grandsons, Bradley (Kayla) Langman and Dylan Martyna; three great-grandchildren, Cecilia, Charlie, and Eileen Cvikel; a brother-in-law, Elmer Belger; other relatives and friends.

 

In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by a son, Deputy District Attorney Dennis R. Krueger on May 5, 2018; an infant brother and his two brothers, Vilas and Willard Krueger; two sisters, Delores Gassner and LaValle Christian; two brothers-in-law; and four sisters-in-law.

 

Funeral services for Raymond will be held at noon on Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1417 Parkview Drive, in Kewaskum with Rev. James Hoogervorst officiating. Burial will follow at Lutheran Memorial Park in Kewaskum.

 

Raymond’s family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Memorials to St. Lucas Hoenecke Book Fund, St. Lucas General Fund, or a memorial of your choice is appreciated.

The Myrhum Patten Miller and Kietzer Funeral Homes have been entrusted with Raymond’s arrangements.
