Randall “Randy” Jaeger, 62, of Neosho, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 2, 2016.

Randy was born in 1954 to Muriel (Burchardt) & Everett Jaeger in Oconomowoc, WI.  He graduated from Oconomowoc High School in 1972.  He started working for Jaeger Floor Covering alongside his dad, installing carpet.  In October 1974, he married his first and only love, Loni Mack.  They began their married life in Iron Ridge, eventually moving to their first house in Neosho.  There, they began raising their family.  Randy began working at Guhring Inc. in Brookfield, where he was a machinist set-up and operator.  Randy played baseball for many years with the Ashippun Platers and Neosho. Eventually, Randy & Loni built their current home, making it big enough to fit all five children. He umped for the Rubicon little league and peewee teams while all of his boys played baseball. Randy eventually became a fuel delivery driver for M.A. Wolf in Slinger, where he continued working until starting at Carlson in 2014, where he was currently employed.  He enjoyed designing his model railroad layout, and sharing it with his nine grandchildren.  He could also be found cutting his yard while listening to the oldies on his headphones. Since 1992, Randy was a dedicated member of the Neosho Fire Department, where he gladly operated the pumper whenever needed. He spent Sundays at church, serving as assistant minister, usher, & reader; making a big breakfast; working on his Honey-Do List; and taking a nap, when he could fit it in.  He was a life-long member of Zion Lutheran Church in Ashippun, where he was baptized, confirmed, and married. He loved both golfing and watching Brewer & Packer games with his grown children.  He had the opportunity to travel coast-to-coast, but enjoyed his vacation to Disney World with his family most of all.  Randy was a Paul Harris fellow with Rotary International.

Randy is survived by his loving wife,  Loni, of 41 years; his dearest children Bradley Jaeger, Waupun; Cori (Matt) Michalowski, Hartford; Adam Jaeger, Hartford; Tyler Jaeger, Whitefish Bay; and Jordan Jaeger, Sun Prairie; as well as his precious grandchildren: Sienna, Kaylee, Jaden, Weston, Callan, Carson, Ella, Reese, and Brooks. He is further survived by his mother, Muriel; father- and mother-in-law, Willard & Eleanor Mack; and siblings, Sheryl Jaeger, Ashippun; Beth (Keith) Johnson, Alexandria, VA; Curt (Keri) Jaeger, Idaho Springs, CO; Ron (Jenny) Jaeger, Oconomowoc; Sue (Dave) Welch, Johnson Creek; and Annette (Todd) Christopherson, Ashippun; sisters-in-law Jody (Steve) Key, Neosho; Jill (Gary) Genz, Watertown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who all love him dearly.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father, and an infant son, Cole.

Visitation is Thursday July 7, 2016 from 4-7PM at Zion Lutheran Church, 226 Main Street, Ashippun, WI. Funeral service will follow at 7:30PM at Zion Lutheran Church. Rev. Robert Thays will officiate.  Private interment Ashippun Lutheran Cemetery.

Randy was never a flower kind of guy.  However, he would have greatly appreciated any memorials being sent to the Neosho Fire Department.
