Ramona “Mona” Geiger was called to heaven on December 11, 2015, just in time to join dad, who passed away on November 25, 2015, in celebrating Christ’s birthday. Mona was born in 1928 to the late John and Rose Kreuser. She was one of eight children.
Mona graduated from Menomonee Falls High School and then spent the next 68 years happily married to Willie Geiger of Jackson/Kirchhayn, WI. They had many wonderful years together working side by side on the family farm and in later years, running Geiger Insurance Agency.
Mona was “Mom” to six surviving children: Dan (Marge) of Summerlin, NV, Gail (Glen) Kaebisch of Jackson, Jean (Ron) Pritchard of Germantown, Sherry (Ken) Jaeck of Jackson, Julie (Tom) Woltersdorf of Apple Valley, MN and Gary (June) of Mequon. Mona is also survived by her sister Harriet Burczyk of Arizona and brother Jack (Helen) Kreuser of Monches. Mom leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mona’s family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the many kind caregivers at The Kathy Hospice.
There will be no memorial service. Mona was buried in St. John’s Cemetery in the Town of Jackson with Willie at her side, as always.
The Schmidt Funeral Home of Jackson is serving the family.
