Obit: Patricia L. Geschke Schneiter

Patricia L. Geschke Schneiter, 81, of Fond du Lac, formerly of Lomira and Theresa, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. She will have the best Christmas present of all, eternal life in heaven with her Lord Jesus.

She was born on March 6, 1934, in Theresa, the daughter of the late Herbert and Elvira (Gutzmer) Bintzler. On October 12, 1952, she was united in marriage to Waldemar “Wallie” Geschke at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Theresa. Wallie preceded Patricia in death on March 13, 1989. On September 4, 2000, she was united in marriage to Orville Schneiter at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lomira. Orville preceded Patricia in death on January 18, 2015.

Patricia was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Theresa. She was currently a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. She was employed for many years at Widmer’s Cheese Cellars in Theresa. Patricia loved traveling and enjoyed camping with Orville. They were members of the Kettle Kampers Club. Patricia liked to sew and bake, but she especially liked to spend time with her family.

Those Patricia leaves behind to cherish her memory include five children, Nanette (Gene) Gassner of Mayville, Myles (Brenda) Geschke of Lomira, Scott Geschke of Middleton, Patrice (Steven) Moratz of Hartford and Tracy (Mary) Geschke of Jackson; four step sons, Timothy (Lisa) Schneiter of North Fond du Lac, Joel (Sue) Schneiter of Greenwood, and Gary (Tonya) Schneiter and Steve Patt both of Fond du Lac; grandchildren; step grandchildren; great grandchildren; a step great grandchild; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, her husbands, Wallie and Orville, she was preceded in death by a brother, Reuben Bintzler, and brothers and sisters-in-law.

Funeral services for Patricia will be held at Noon on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at Faith Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac.

Patricia’s family will greet relatives and friends at the Kietzer-Miller Funeral Home in Lomira on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at Faith Lutheran Church on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac will follow services.
