Obit: Nancy Ann (Sable) Newhouse, 73, of West Bend

April 20, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Nancy A. Newhouse (nee Sable), age 73, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at her residence.  She was born on April 11, 1944 to Norman and Gloria (nee Restivo) Sable.  She graduated from St. Pius High School Class of 1962 and Cardinal Stritch University.  She married Edward Newhouse on April 22, 1963 in Indiana.  Nancy retired from IPD at Cardinal Stritch University where she was employed for 26 years as a divisional accountant.

She loved being around family and she was a book and Scrabble enthusiast.  She also enjoyed music, wind-up toys, sharing her Italian cooking traditions, and watching classic movies.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Edward; cherished children, Mark (Lori), Michael (Kathleen) and Beth (Paul) Schlenker; adored grandchildren, Anthony, Mitchell, Corey, Marie (Kyle), Carolyn and Deanna; siblings-in-law, Judy Sable and Lila Helland; and her beloved pet, Buster.  She is further survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Frank; parents-in-law, Edward and Belinda Newhouse and sister-in-law Barbara Fugiasco.

The Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend) with Rev. Randolph Raasch and Deacon Tom Walsh presiding.  The Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 23rd at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 3:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the West Bend Community Library would be appreciated.
