April 11, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Micheline R. “Mickey” Kazmierski (nee Pollack), age 65 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, April 10, 2017.
Mickey was born on October 18, 1951 to Joseph and Jean (nee Fassbinder) Pollack in Milwaukee. Graduated from Pius High School, class of 1969. She married Fredrick “Rick” Kazmierski on May 8, 1971. Mickey was a computer analyst at WE Energies for 25 years and retired in 2006. Mickey was a volunteer teacher and wildflower expert at Lac Lawrann Conservancy. She was a master gardener, loved to canoe in the boundary waters, and a true wilderness voyageur. Mickey enjoyed teaching Sunday School and practiced Native American spirituality. A member of Northern Cross Science Foundation and Al-Anon.
Mickey is survived by her husband Rick, son Jason (Lea) and daughter Mariah (Stephan) Tremblay. She is further survived by her grandchildren Nicholas, Jaime, and Samantha, brother Thomas Pollack, sister Paula Duwe, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Joseph Pollack.
A Memorial Service will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, April 21 from 4:00 pm until time of service 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Lac Lawrann Conservancy (300 Schmidt Rd., West Bend, 53090).
