Marylin A. Thull, 92, of the town of Farmington, entered eternal life on Sunday, February 7, 2016, at Hawthorn Manor in West Bend.
Marylin was born on September 4, 1923, the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Brockhaus) Heilmann. On September 16, 1950, she was united in marriage to Norbert Thull at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend. Norbert preceded Marylin in death on December 13, 1985.
Marylin was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Michaels where she was an active member of the Christian Women. She enjoyed quilting, baking and farming. Marylin was an avid dancer and loved going to polka dances with Norbert. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Those Marylin leaves behind to cherish her memory include eight children, Sue (Ralph) Deppiesse of Random Lake, Craig (Lois) Thull of Campbellsport, Gale (Don Guzan) Thull of Plymouth, Janine (Jeff Richter) Thull of Menomonie, Gary (Doreen) Thull of Howard, Pennsylvania, Geralyn Fromm of Port Washington, Kevin “KT” (Lynn) Thull of St. Michaels and Adrianne (Ron) Theusch of Alden, Minnesota; a daughter-in-law, Vicky Thull of Campbellsport; 19 grandchildren; great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Mary Rose Thull, Barbara Heilmann, Ursula (Glen) Abel, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Marylin was preceded in death by two sons, Alan Thull and Leon Thull; a son-in-law, Ron Fromm; a grandson, Brent Schultz; three brothers, Norman, George and Felix (Leonarda) Heilmann; a sister, Florence Held; two sisters-in-law, Cyrilla (Victor) Moser and Lucina (Gilbert) Moser and a brother-in-law, Edmund Thull.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marylin Thull will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2016, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Michaels. Father Edwin Kornath will officiate and burial take place in the parish cemetery on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
Marylin’s family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of Mass.
In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Michael’s Catholic Church or to the Leon G. Thull Memorial Scholarship Fund is appreciated.
