Obit: Mary M. Bohlen (nee Loichinger), 94, of the Town of Addison

Sept. 10, 2017 – Town of Addison, WI – Mary M. Bohlen (nee Loichinger) age 94 of the Town of Addison died Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend. She was born December 1, 1922 in the Town of Addison to Henry and Katherine (nee Ritger) Loichinger and married Edward A. Bohlen on June 28, 1941 in West Bend. Edward preceded her in death on March 31, 1992.

Mary was a devout Catholic who lived her faith every day. She loved her family and devoted her life to raising and caring for them. Mary enjoyed crafting, baking, working in her garden and staying busy with projects.

Mary is survived by her 7 children: Mary Sciano of Richfield, Edward (Katherine) of Hales Corners, Joseph (Karen) of Sussex, Paul of Sussex, Mark (Pat) of Sussex, Therese (James) Gronemeyer and Anne White of Milwaukee. She is further survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Katherine Loichinger, her husband Edward Bohlen, 2 grandsons and 10 brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church with Rev. Richard Stoffel presiding. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family will greet visitors on Wednesday, at the church only from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Washington County Humane Society are appreciated.

We would like to thank the nurses at Cedar Hospice for the tender loving care given to our mother at the end of her life journey.

The Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend is serving the family.
