Margaret M. Ritterbusch (nee July), age 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the Samaritan in West Bend. She was born on March 11, 1921 to Niclaus and Emma (nee Ponath) July. Margaret married Herbert Ritterbusch on October 25, 1941 settling in Decker’s Corners in Cedarburg before moving to their home in West Bend in 1969. They both worked at the West Bend Company until retirement.
Margaret was dedicated to Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend and to her friends at the Copper Penny Restaurant.
Margaret is survived by her brother-in-law Wallace (Geraldine) Ritterbusch and their daughter Dina Roberts; nieces and nephews Darlene July; Shirley (Elmer) Woods, Robert Knop; Kenneth (Michele) Knop; Donald (Lynn) Knop; Janice (Jeffrey) Gall; Diane Knop; Christine (Herman) Huebner; Jeffrey (Wendy) Knop; Debra (Ken) Kujawski; Cheryl (Frank) Simonson; Jackie (Alan) Buckley; Susan (Rick) Wild; niece-in-law Jean Knop and goddaughter Rosemary Fink. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Herbert, her sisters Mary Ann July and Hildegard (Harvey) Knop, brothers Adam July, Frank (Grace) July and Leo July and nephew Roger Knop.
A Funeral Service will be on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 7:00PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend 53095) with Pastor David Schoob presiding. A visitation will be from 4:00PM until the time of the service (7:00PM). Interment will take place Friday, June 17, 2016 at 9:00AM at Washington County Memorial Park.
